Good morning everyone. I am looking for a CL at or around Alnwick, Northumberland for a few nights as a stop over on our way down from the Scottish Highlands to Gloucestershire in early September. Has anyone any recommendations ? I would very much appreciate any comments. Thank you in anticipation .
We have just returned home from a two week stay at Birch Hill Farm CL which is located about a mile from the town of Ellesmere. The site is in a beautiful location, and is very well kept and managed by the friendly owners Ian and Janet. There are many tourist attractions within easy drive from the site, and information on…
I am trying to compile a list of cls with direct access or very close to a cycle track. I have tried trolling through the CL web site , but some descriptions are very vague. I know one or two from personal use, but any suggestions would be welcome and may be of use to other members.
I'm not sure why, but we are experiencing a huge surge in bookings. Our CL has been running for 35 years and 5 out of the past 8 months have broken all records - even more bookings than the time that we won the CL of the Year Award. Perhaps this is the 'staycation' that the media has been telling us about - the value of…
We've just come back from our 1st ever CL trip to Gorsgoch Farm in Anglesey. So far we've only done larger sites with facilities etc. We had a good time and enjoyed the informality & peace & quite. We turned up at the site pitched where we wanted and got on with our holiday. We will now visit other CL's and also in the…
CL 1710 New House Farm, Tenbury Wells has the same photograph on the web site as CL 1720 New House Farm, Marley. The CL's are some 15 miles apart by road. Anyone know which CL can claim the veiw as their own? And can anyone estimate how long it will take to make the correction on the web site? I phoned the CL department…
Hello Has anyone stayed on this CL? There are no pictures or reviews on line. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
I was thinking of having a new site sign made for the roadside as I am a little worried about the size and colour of the new Club ones. Could you help me in advising what information you think the sign should have from a users point of view. http://www.perthshirecl.co.uk/ David Mod Comment - Link edited to open in a new…
.....with electric hook up. I'm looking for somewhere in the Peak District that accepts dogs, has decent walks not far from the site and is a short walk from a pub, anyone recommend anywhere? Looking for a weekend in Mid-May. Thanks
Does anyone know of a nice CL not far from the Coast? We want to visit Aldeburgh and Southwold. Only essential would be electricity, but a pleasant view would be a plus. Thanks all.
