Took the ladies to Aberkhan today, an old mill on the North Wales coast road. Now a place to buy wool, crafts, linen etc. MiL wanted some wool for her next project so we agreed to buy it for Mothers Day. I took myself off for a coffee and read of the paper in the cafe whilst they surveyed the goodies. I walked in just as MiL was finally deciding on what wool she wanted.

"Where is the pattern Mum?"

"It's in those books at the front of the shop"

"There are 14 books Mum, which one?"

"I can't remember!"🤷‍♂️🤣

I'm just off for another coffee says I.

Can I ask how long Carol has been waiting from point of referral to the hospital, it seems to vary so much around the country.

OH went into MiLs bedroom this morning after MiL had had her shower.

"Mum, why is there a Mange-Tout sitting on your trolley"

"Well I peeled them for my dinner last night"

"And?"

" During the night I found one under the duvet. I was going to eat it as I knew you would only ask but I didn't have my teeth in and I'd forgotten about it"🤣🤣

The Midnight Mange-Tout muncher strikes again, if she can remember to put her teeth in.

Boiler installed and seems to be working fine. Fingers Crossed. When you retire the idea is to have more free time so why is our calendar full of appointments and not just for health? And we don't have grandchildren so I don't know how those that do, manage.🤷‍♂️
