Re: More CAMC app woes. Worrying indeed
Personally I don’t think much to the App. It’s not really a proper app, just a front end to the web site. If your bookings are showing on the web site when you access my profile and my bookings, I wouldn’t worry and just use the web site in future rather than the App. If they don’t show then you need to give the club a call.
Re: What are you all up to
Glad you are still enjoying your tour, @nelliethehooker and all the photo's - @Takethedogalong. Good to read what everyone is up to....
Weather still good for our visit to Knoll Beach (National Trust), Studland, today. Beach was quite crowded, but no problem parking. This beach also has a beach cafe. Views across to Poole...
...and across in the direction towards Old Harry Rocks (on the skyline), and Swanage (around the corner).
You can even see the Isle of Wight....

@Bakers2 - I assume you've worked out that you can do the same with the "Y" axis - thus altering the depth. What you can then do - is highlight the line, make it deeper by dragging the boundary to halfway down the next line. Click - and that will set it at that depth. Then, highlight that line and do a 'copy and paste' into the next line and so on. That will then give you 1.5 lines spacing or at least an exact copy of that spacing😀. Bit difficult to put into words!!
Re: Whale Caravan Water Inlet Socket Removal
Try dental floss or fishing line to cut the sealant.
Re: Garden Snap Shots!
Yahoo, after a false start it’s raining here as well. Not heavy, but it is rain🤩
Re: What are you all up to
@milliehull Wentworth Village has a preservation order on it, and there are still some beautiful gardens. My Great Grandad was a Mineworker in a Fitzwilliam pit, they had a tied cottage on the Estate in Fenton Woods. Idyllic above ground, but it was still a hard life, all Grandad’s brothers and sisters either worked in the mines (they owned lots) or in service. Lucky Grandad got a Gardening job! Photo of houses in village…..
Re: What are you all up to
@RedKite the WW show is still on this weekend, it’s been a huge draw, thousands of visitors, and the traffic is a bit chaotic. My Sis lives overlooking the Estate, and she is stopping at Mum’s rather than getting snarled up in things. I was sent some photos yesterday from friends, they had a fabulous if very hot day. I deliberated over tickets, but with the way our pooch is at the moment, decided to give it a miss. I have done big flower shows before, and know that it can be a very long, hot day, and you do need a full day to do it justice. It will be a huge boost for the WWTrust, will entice even more visitors to return for a good look around. Hopefully it will happen again, although….there are still tickets left for tomorrow🤔🤣 Some of my friends photos….
This is the “alternative” Whistlejacket painting🤭 Not as famous as the real one, he was supposed to be very badly behaved🤭
My Grandad would have loved this, he was a Gardener for “The Big House” when quite young.
Re: What are you all up to
@milliehull it's been easing and getting steady again. Hopefully it'll come your way.
Watching and listening to the garden sighing with relief and greening up. Steadily filling the waterbutts. The air has cooled so much I've had to close the kitchen door as I felt cool 🤣. A very novel experience of late.
Sneaking a break from admin 😉
Slightly damp dog walk. We did go to her favourite immediately offlead bridleway. Back to seriously limiting daily steps again! The farmer keeps it almost as short as a lawn. Great for even damp muddy wet dog walks. But he has the audacity to blame dog walkers for the lack of wildlife and birds! A 15 foot, minimum, from hedgerow to crop start leaves wildlife vunerable. Its the same found every edge of that particular field... Mind you we see hare, deer, stoats and weasels and hear loads of birds including skylarks. I think the meadows the other side of the path and hedge assist with habitat.
LLovely Photos from all. Keep them coming.
Back to grappling with excel. Remembered lots re formulas, wrapping text but can't figure out how to.make the columns deeper so they are easier to.read. only ever did it as a 'sideline' at work and rarely at home. A new laptop isn't helping much either 🙃 .I will preserve and not be beaten..…..... well without a good fight 🤣
Re: What are you all up to
Well the rain did come @Bakers2 but it has now gone again☹️. Not sure it has done much good but at least it is cooler.
Lovely photo of your pooch @Takethedogalong. I am glad all OK with your OH. I too watched Gardeners World from Wentworth Woodhouse @RedKite I really enjoyed it as it was a bit more 'down to earth'. I loved the story of the miner's cottages and their gardens.
