Re: What are you all up to
@Wherenext I’m sure I will get the chance I will make sure of it hehe
Excellent day here today nice weather so we took a trip to Caister and visited the classic motoring museum there what a wonderful place we were there around 4 hours they have a great selection of cars and motorbikes of all ages from the 1890s right up until the 2000s even had a Mercedes the same as mine lovely example I got chatting to one of the volunteers there who was very helpful and knowledgable about the cars. Admission price also gets you into the grounds of the castle and can walk up the stairs to the tower but we just had a quick run round as we had spent most of the time looking at the cars well I did SWMBO had a quick look then took herself off to look at their collection of porcelain. Came back to the van and cooked on the Cadac still sitting out now enjoying the sun with a pint of Guinness. Think we are going to head down to the club house soon for a drink
Re: CAMC app woes
I'm sure you are right, but if us old fuddy duddies are meant to get on board with future technology then it should be up to scratch.
The people on the end of the phone at camc have been nothing short of excellent - and as I write this, I'm realising that the phone call really is the best way forward. Thanks 👍

Re: What are you all up to
Belated birthday wishes @DEBSC - sounds like you had a nice day. Pleased to hear that your foot problem is a bit better @Bakers2 . Lovely photos David @DSB and @nelliethehooker. I'm starting to get itchy feel and feeling a little bit frustrated because we aren't going away this month. Still, been waiting long enough for the hospital appointment, so I will be pleased to get that out of the way and hopefully, have some answers as to what's wrong.
Not away again until 14 August which seems ages away😢 - however - as posted elsewhere, I have managed to secure a serviced pitch at Sandringham for Christmas😀. Just need to fill in the bits in between!
Re: What’s your favourite way to keep kids entertained on long journeys?
Brilliant! Love these suggestions - some great ideas to while away those travel hours! 🙂

Re: Yorkshire Dealership Recommendations
That’s why they end up dropping a clanger, not enough proper research done. 👍
Re: What’s your favourite way to keep kids entertained on long journeys?
Never travelled much with children, but we do have a few ways of keeping ourselves entertained…….(we are big kids🤭) You might need to adapt for age range of course
On motorways…Lorry Cricket! You get one run for who spots a supermarket lorry first, then you can allocate different run totals to other companies such as Norbert Dentresangle, Frigoscandia, Eddie Stobert, etc….. For us, the six was a Preston’s of Potto South of Sheffield!🤣
Variation, and a lot more fun…….Pub Cricket! A run for every leg in the pub name, so Fox and Goose would be six, you are on a winner with Coach and Horses, particularly if the pub has a sign showing a four in hand and passengers up top🤩 Extra run for things like a Unicorn’s Horn, Two extra runs for The Stags Head (antlers🤣) etc…… you might need a referee and someone keeping count though🤣🤣
Older children…….Radio Charades. Think of a film, then give a word clue puzzle. Example….one word film, clue ”pleased to have dined off a woman”………answer…..Gladiator🤣🤣🤣 it took my OH 30 mins to get that one🤭
Alternate names……..go through the alphabet, each person playing has to give a girls name, or a boys name, a bird a castle or big house or if you are oldies like us, car marques, so A is Allegro, B is Berlingo, C is Cortina, etc…… each player has to find a name for each letter, so it can get really hard.
We have whiled away some ten hour driving days with stuff like this🤭
Re: Yorkshire Dealership Recommendations
The OP seems to be collecting info across forums but I’ve yet to hear of him viewing a van or even asking about specific vans. It’s all rather vague at present.
Re: How to post photos on new discussion
The big leaves in bottom photo looks similar to mine TTDA SO POSSIBLY mine could be a Hollyhock …..
