lovely day today we were up quite early but stayed around the van relaxing this morning it rained overnight but has been lovely and warm today averaging around 26 degrees. In the afternoon we took a walk in to Cromer what a nice place had a wander around the narrow streets and down to the shore front. Then took a walk along the pier and had a pint from the bar there sitting out overlooking the sea lovely warm day and a good walk lovely town with plenty to see so will probably pay it another visit. Back to the van and cooked some burgers on the Cadac still vey warm here but. Now sitting in the awning having a drink. May head down to the on site bar later for a pint. Not sure of the plan for tomorrow yet

Well, regarding my English. A little anecdote: My bike stand broke on a bike ride. What a load of crap, I thought, until I remembered the bike shop at the train station in Brockenhurst. What can I say? They even had a used stand in stock for my exotic CUBE Kathmandu, and I had great communication with the mechanic. He was a really nice guy; we had a lot of fun assembling it, had a good chat, and he put a lot of effort into it. The price was so low, too, that I gave him a decent tip.

Yes, we'll definitely be back in the UK. Where else should we go? Scandinavia is still on my to-do list, though. But one thing at a time. I hope I can still manage some of my schedule. At almost 64 and not exactly healthy anymore, you shouldn't wait, you just do it.

@peedee Yes, that was the "Holland Woods" campsite. It wasn't my favorite, and I would have liked to have spent more time on the road with the camper, but my wife's old caravan mentality came back to life. Ultimately, our stay at Holland Woods was fantastic. The scenery is simply unbelievably beautiful, and we racked up quite a few miles with our bikes and dog trailer. I think it was about 25 miles every day

@Edgar lovely story, beautiful photos. Welcome😁 Now you have your own camper, come and explore some of the North of England as well, sure you will enjoy different scenery, rugged hills and moorlands in Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland areas. Lots of beautiful gardens, castles, beaches.
