Re: Welcome to the New Club Together Forum!
@Rowena - this is still happening. Is IT unable to rectify the problem?
Re: Late Availability 2025
stayed at a non electric CS in the Banbury area last week at £10 a night.
Re: Mayday Query after watching a disaster.
If it’s on social media, it must be accurate🙄.
As for the OP’s question, either study your policy for the terms or ring and ask. Both are likely to be more accurate than our opinions.
Re: passport
Sorry if my post caused some confusion. Obviously members can pay by whatever means accepted by the campsite. I am just curious as to why people would select cash if that meant they had to go to an ATM to withdraw the money when they could use the same card to pay on site. I do appreciate that we all need cash for some transactions, especially for lower value amounts. But campsite fees(with the exception of a few CL's) hardly these days fit into "lower value amounts" category? Personally I do carry some cash but it is always a secondary form of payment with a CC being thr preferred method.

Re: What are you all up to
Last Saturday we headed down to East Midlands for our eldest Grandson’s wedding. Not the best of journeys, but it was Friday afternoon. But it was all worth it as we had a wonderful time. It was a lovely wedding, with our two Great Granddaughters playing their part so well. I have some beautiful photos of them but this is not the place for them- so here’s a couple of old farmers with the Bride and Groom.
Re: Brand new CL campsite- Anglesey
@eurortraveller you really think a B&B is the same as a CL. I mean just off the top of my head a B&B will need a building, bedrooms and furniture, perhaps even ensuite bathrooms. Those rooms will have to be cleaned, the bed changed, and linen washed and the bathroom cleaned? It will cost more to run in terms of heating and electricity? A CL like this one has none of the above apart from a pitch lawn and one bathroom cleaned? Also a B&B has to make money while many CLs are run in addition to another business.
As to just club members maybe that is part of the attraction for both members and those running CLs. Also I assume there is the benefit of the club doing quite a lot of advertising for a CL and its search functions, which a campsite would have to do themselves if not a CL.
You post as if you know the supply and demand for this area? Is this true? perhaps there is more demand than supply?
Good luck @HenWenCamping
Re: Brand new CL campsite- Anglesey
You’re repeating yourself, Euro.
I'll credit the site owners with sufficient knowledge to know what they’re doing.
Re: Brand new CL campsite- Anglesey
But the site owner has all the advantages of being exempted👍
Re: Swift Caravans, in the dolddrums
Personally I think folks views of occupancy are still clouded by the post covid high figures, which have now dropped back to pre covid levels. We didn’t venture abroad for two years and some waited three, preferring to spend time touring in their own country instead. Bookings now require a deposit, OK it’s only £5, however I believe it does have an affect. Therefore where in the past you would have seen full, now it will show booking available, but resulting in little difference in the final occupancy figure. It certainly doesn’t seem to be a function of price. We just spent a week with the granddaughter split between Castleton and Chatsworth and although there were spaces on standard pitches midweek the service pitch occupancy rate was +90%.
Re: Caravan steps - Warning
It’s obvious really. Also those steps are too light in my view and need pegging.
We always used these and found them faultless - solid and didn’t sink in the mud. They only needed pegging on a couple of occasions. I recommend them.
