Despite the middle and southern parts of the lakes full of snow there was hardly any in Keswick's Victorian fayre which was as usual fantastic. Although I'm not sure how this chap fits in?

So long as the plumbing has been drained I can*t see the point of heating the caravan while it's in storage. Perhaps someone will enlighten me.
I've had my caravans out in the open for over 30 years and even when the temperature has dropped to -15° on isolated occasions I only had a problem once because I had forgotten to drain the boiler.

I've been looking at highlights of this season on youtube this weekend. Best rookie in a long time has to be Oscar Piastri, let's hope Lando gets his first win before he does. Best laugh has to be the Hungarian GP when Lando knocked over and broke Max's trophy (the look on his face!).
I think if Danny Ric hadn't broken his hand he would now be Max's partner. I think Checo will have his work cut out to keep his RB seat as surely his excuses book must be threadbare.
Max has the talent, hunger and now the maturity that Lewis had 6 or 8 years ago so it will be interesting to see next year if Merc can produce the car has Lewis still got that hunger?

Why do you put out bowls of salt? Yes, I know it absorbs moisture but, in view of the vents in your van, you are constantly soaking up moisture from the big outdoors and that’s why you need to change them every month. I recommend saving your money.

Hi mrtattoo,
Of the total bill, how much is the pump ?. From memory I don’t think they’re massively expensive in terms of the part alone, and as they’re much easier to access whilst the belts are off I’d replace all at the same time (I did this with my 2018 multijet last year).

Two possible explanations come to mind:
1. Perhaps they fitted the wrong towbar
or
2. Is the car fitted with standard rear springs or is the rolling radius of the wheels perhaps larger than standard?

wonder how much of this effects bookings? Not that we'll ever know. I reported tge thread about booking site showing full, but work around shows spaces. Heard nothing. You don't even get an acknowledgement!
B2 you didn't really expect a response did you?! This is supposed to be a leading UK company in its specific sector, but they certainly don't respect their membership (customers), in particular at weekends, when most of their membership are at home and possibly looking to book our sites.

Thanks for all the messages re Mrs M's injury! Amazingly, she has got an appointment at the fracture clinic at RUH on Tuesday so will ask about all your suggestions then.
Thought it was about time to bake some of the Savoury Christmas Shortbread from Goldie's recipe last year this morning. Feeling rather pleased with myself when I got everything rolled out and into the oven ...... until, when clearing up I discovered the unopened packet of parmesan! 
So have now got to explain why they don't taste quite as cheesey as last year's batches. 
Still, a good reason to cracking on with another batch!
