6 nights spent at the York Rowntree Park Club site, a 5-minute walk along the river bank and you are in the historic city centre. The Yorvick Viking Center is well worth a visit and is reasonably priced as well. The Sambles at Christmas is magical, and York's Christmas market is probably one of the best in the Country.
