Sadly, no CAMC site on the island. We haven't taken the caravan here... some of the roads are single track, but there are lots of passing places - usually the next passing place is visible from the last one. Might be easier to visit with a motorhome... Our daughter lives on Lewis and we usually stay with her and her family.

I thought a few photos might inspire someone to make the journey...

    I may try and find some photos from previous visits, when I can sort through.... Other places worth a visit....: Callanish Stones, Stornoway, Blackhouse Village (Garenin), the Blackhouse (Arnol), St Clement's Church, Rodel..... so many quiet beaches... view the seals near Finsbay..... and, if you are lucky, whales north of Stornoway...... don't forget to get some Stornoway Black pudding from McLeods....
