He may have his 'knockers' but yesterday's performance at Headingley will be talked about for years to come, akin to Botham in 1981. Despite a very poor umpiring decision and a spin bowler who panicked, it was a thrilling spectacle to watch and one which may just give us a chance of winning back the Ashes.

    Indeed it will.

    Great to see it unfold amidst the tension and the growing belief in the crowd as each boundary got us closer. Leach will no doubt remember the importance of his single in the saga too 😀

    As the BBC put it, he looks more like Alan for Accounting than a test cricketer but hats off to Alan!
