Like Whittakerr  I'm  now  only  an   Armchair  spectator - but  in  my  case of  :--

Football,  Test  Cricket ( when  its  available ),  Wimbledon tennis,  Golf Majors, and  Athletics.

The  most  recent  sport  I  played [ 25 years since embarassed ]  was  20 over  Cricket,  where  my  slow  bowling  was  best  described  as  Peter  Walker  described  Alvin  Kallicharan's  bowling ==>  Four  overs  of  Flighted  Filth wink

Play golf 4/5 times per week (albeit with a buggy) and fish for Salmon when conditions allow.

Played rugby (union), football, cricket, tennis and badminton.

Now enjoy watching all sports either live or on tv.

Netball: not in your list (why????)

I play and watch it on TV. It's a sport which is on the up. England Roses made history by winning Commonwealth Gold last year 😊

Used to play RU and a bit of cricket. Now watch sport of each and every persuasion, much to OH's annoyance. Why no competitive cycling on the list?

Not  on  Ro's  list  possibly  'cos  it  gets  so  little  coverage  in  Press  &  T.V.  --  like  Hockey  which  I  played  very  occasionally  ( NOT  occasionally  enough   surprisedcry  )  but  of  the  Mixed  Variety.  Several  scars  in  various  places  from  Both  Sexes,  some  of  whom  were  of  County  Standard  --  Which  I  most  obviously  was  NOT yell !!  They  most  definitely  knew  how  to hurt  a  guy   embarassed   .

Love watching top class cycling, live and on TV. It’s mainly free as well.

Taking part? Horse riding, hockey, lacrosse, squash, fencing, trampolining and lots of swimming........................🤔paying for it now though, I feel a hip replacement looming, to go with the pinned shoulder!☹️

Funnily enough I was originally looking to join a hockey club, but there weren't any in my area so that's how I ended up in a netball team!

Such a shame there isn't more tv coverage, unless you have Sky,  as netball players are such good role models and their behaviour both on and off court is exemplary 😀

Sailing : participating in recreationally, it gives me respite.

Disabled swimming supporting son in the past! You don't have time for anything else!

Never been into the round ball game. So cant get worked up about football teams, cups, competitions etc.

    The Rugbies!

Played Union well into middle age, now watch both codes with equal enjoyment.

Love them, best games 'on't 'urf'!🏉

It was a fabulous example! Just breath taking in its intensity and commitment. What's more I am absolutely sure both sets of supporters will, I'm sure, celebrate and commiserate together in perfect union!🏉🍺👍😋
