Caravan & Camping Show
I went to the Caravan & Camping Show on Tuesday 19 Feb at the NEC Birmingham which i enjoy since i have been widowed. I was disapointed with lack of seating in the halls for disabled people like me.People were having to sit on the floor I wondered if the club could press for more seating for future shows.

I agree, definite lack of seating,we could`nt get a seat for lunch as all the cafe`s were full. We did manage to get a seat later on about 4`ish on the Club stand, very welcome, its a very big show so you do need to rest your feet.

This has always been the problem, can't understand why as there seems to be adequate room around the edges where benches or chairs could quite easily be made available.

Write your comments here...I agree with you all over this. Year before last I was suffering with my hip and we could only see seats on the LUNAR CARAVAN stand. So we sat there for a minute and we were offered a glass of wine/beer by the hostess on the stand. We explained we were only resting our backsides and she said Yes but you are at the show. We gratefully accepted the drink and did look at their caravans. What a great sales ploy !!!!

I remember when you could go to the show and get a seat as they used to be scattered around all the show halls. I have stopped going as often now as they are taking the spaces fore more stock leaving customers with nowhere to sit &rest
