I can't DEBSC because I don't have any contact details. I don't know his address.
The family situation is complicated even with my own family relations. Whilst my eldest brother, Furrokh, helps by sending a £325 monthly gift to me, my second brother, Darius, broke off contact with me soon after the previous marriage divorce proceedings ended. The proceedings dragged on for 4 years because my ex-wife tried to defy court orders to put the house up for sale, until she was eventually told that she was in contempt of court for which she could face a term of imprisonment. So finally she agreed to put the house up for sale. Before the marriage break up, my second brother and his wife, Sue couldn't get on with my ex-wife, Kim and told me so. They found her to be a rather difficult, bitter and cynical woman that disturbed their peace. However, they often invited my son over to their place for the day throughout his childhood and teenage years.

Following this she stopped the mortgage payments and the house was repossessed. She moved to another address and then sent a change of address card to Darius. After that Sue and Darius re-established contact with them because they wanted to curry favour with her so that they would be able to have contact with my son, their nephew.
However, they took this to the extreme of breaking off contact with me. Darius started calling me his ex-brother and said that he was not going to have anything further to do with me or anyone associated with me. When he started blocking my emails, my present wife's emails and postal correspondence, Christmas cards, Birthday cards etc. were all returned to me as unwanted mail.
DEBSC, what can I or my present wife, possibly do, about a family situation like that? I have tried and she has tried on several occasions but to no avail.

I take it that 'The Queen' on the left hand side of the settee is the great grandmother of the baby girl on your lap and that the girl on the right is your mother then. Is that right, Goldie?

Not in MrsT's good book today,she has just read on the cover of one of my railway magazines the soon to be opening of Broadway station. It would appear I omitted to mention this when we booked to stay there in June.!!😀😀 Ooops , she loves me really ,and I've promised to grow up one day ........ Didn't tell her which day though 😂😂.

Warm here today, if not particularly sunny. Bridge reopened at Clumber (fenced path down the centre). So we could do our usual walk round the lake. You can clearly see the damage in the photos, missing balustrade along more or less it's full length.

Hadn't heard about this. Sadly the park does tend to attract the occasional mindless individuals. Their pretend little brains will have been on a rally course no doubt. Good on the Trust for keeping bridge open though, keeps that popular circular walk open.0 -

I've got today off from work but it's raining, so no plans to go out anywhere. Best to just stay in our caravan and chill! The rest of the week is going to be busy, so a need to recharge the batteries so to speak. They've increased my hours at work which will mean more money but more tiring too!
Furthermore, my wife has her dental appointment at Guys Hospital on Thursday and will need to take the train because I'm working that evening and would be unable to get back in time for my 5 p.m. start if we went by car. Also we need to collect the Shogun from the house address after I finish my shift at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The other thing is that we need to take the Shogun in for its MOT on Thursday morning at 8.30 a.m. which they say will take two hours. That means having to collect the Shogun from the house address on Wednesday night after work.
The next day, Friday is going to be another busy day as we need to move our caravan from Brighton CMC site to our seasonal pitch at Northbrook Farm CMC site. No time to take the awning down the day before, so everything will have to be done on Friday. We'll have to get started early Friday morning in order to get the awning down, packed away and hitched up so that we can be off this site by 12 noon. Luckily, it's a day off work for me, so we have the whole day free to concentrate on moving and getting settled into our seasonal pitch.
Then back to work for Saturday and Sunday.

I was supposed to have yesterday as a day off but they needed me to work an extra shift. So they asked me to come in to work from 5 to 8. However, it wasn't as busy as they expected so they let me go home at 6.30 p.m. So I only had to do an hour and a half in the rain once again!
I was glad to get home early and have an earlier dinner followed by a good nights sleep. I slept 8 hours before I got up this morning but still feel tired! So my wife is looking after me now.
A few days after our move to Worthing, I have an appointment at the surgery with the nurse for diabetic clinic followed by another appointment two weeks later. Then the next day my wife has an appointment booked at Worthing Hospital. It's all go!
It's stopped raining now, so my wife is just making a quick dash over to the toilet block to do her ablutions before it starts again.

The rain has just started again but she will be under shelter by now! She prefers to use the toilet block because of a bigger washbasin, more room in the shower and higher water pressure than in the caravan. I prefer to use the caravan facilities because she helps me with my shower. I can't easily wash my back because of it being a small cubicle, so she helps do my back for me and gets clean clothes, towels etc. all ready for me.

No just an hour and a half pay, cariadon. The whole idea of sending me home earlier is to save money in wage costs. If I didn't agree to go home, they would give me non-driving work to do in the shop, like sweep the floors, pot wash, making up the boxes, emptying the bins etc. They don't let you hang around for nothing. They want value for the money they are paying in wages!
