Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everyone!
What are you all up to today and who is out in their caravan or motorhome?

Cleaned the inside of our caravan today, having just returned from our last trip, in preparation for the next one. We don't stay away over Easter, as we have no need to be adding additional traffic to the already busy roads of sites, and avoid the inflated price that some sites charge during this, and other, holiday periods.

We don’t do school holidays either, so not out. At home in my happy place, gardening. Bit nippy and windy, say it’s been a greenhouse day today, planting tomato and flower seeds, pricking out some seedling tomatoes, tidying up some potted plants. In now, having home made soup, then it’s head down and some serious crochet to be done…..we are going to yarn bomb the town’s oldest secular building, the lovely little pub where we have our knit and natter group. It’s 14th century, a fabulous building.😁
Happy Easter to all, whatever you are up to…. Or not!😁

I also try not to do school holidays, there are occasions when/if we want to join family that is not possible. This Easter I did look into going to a nearby site, but either the cheaper non-electric grass pitches were not open or they had all been booked so we stayed at home. We have plenty of opportunity to go later.
Except for today, when we had a nice Easter lunch and visitors, I have been getting on with some household DIY. The garden did not need any attention and neither did the motorhome, the latter being ready to roll whenever the weather is suitable and we feel inclined to go.

At home, we don't tour, sadly, anymore.
Treating ourselves to a very lazy day. Nice homemade dinner from the freezer awaiting minimal cooking later. Currently enjoying the sun streaming through the windows, until it's obscured by a cloud.
I had a lovely, if breezy, walk across the fields with the dog this morning. The bluebells are beginning to make a good show.
Tomorrow, wind permitting, I may potter in the garden.

Happy Easter everyone. Hopefully we'll be able to get out in the caravan soon. Easter is always so busy with church services to play for (....not quite as busy as Christmas though!!), and with the extra care we have had to provide for Carol's mum, things haven't been easy. (I've posted this in the 'What are you up to...' thread, but sadly, Carol's mum passed away last week). Still so much to do, but perhaps a little outing in the caravan is called for, somtime in the next few weeks.
