Sargent 310 caravan alarm sounder failure

the sounder has stopped working. The fob makes lights flash once for on twice for off, rechargeable battery pack fully charged as is the leisure battery. Can hear a clicking when setting and unsettling and PIR is working. Have removed the PCB board and checked that the horn is properly affixed to the base. Ordered a new horn sounder from Amazon but touching the wires to the horn connection on the PCB and still no sound. So it looks like there is a fault on the PCB. Any other suggestions before I contact Sargent for a new PCB? Has anyone replaced the board?

@JanetCaldecott why not just ask your dealer and then Sargent if they have any idea why the horn is not working and if they have a solution to resolve the issue before purchasing the PCB?

Having a couple of false alarms issues, and having to investigate them, a couple of things to try,After arming the alarm, it will take a couple of minutes to set. Then try re-entering van.

On my van there is a stabiliser leg sensor, try arming the system and lifting the front legs up,a see if that initiates the siren.

Are batteries new in PIR ?and there is a setting procedure via the three pinned fob ,has that altered ? Instructions for above are in the leaflet or online.Give Sargent a ring ,as they are most helpful ,but you must be in the van,as they will talk you through your issues.
