Overnight stop near Caen ferry port

Just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to park overnight near Caen with a caravan ? We are on the afternoon ferry from Portsmouth in August arriving at 9.30pm but our normal stopover at Riva Bella has a minimum 2 nights stay.

    We stayed two nights at Riva Bella and had a day along the coast and in Bayeux town. Not a hardship.

    There is also a farm site 10 or 15 minutes from the port at Lion sur Mer - reviews on UKCampsite.co.uk . Owner is a MrChevalier but I doubt if he will welcome you late at night as it could be 10.30 pm by the time you are though immigration with finger printing and all that.
