Just received my 2026 Renewal Quote from Devitt Insurance Services, a jaw dropping increase from last years price of £272 to £435.12p. Pick me up from the floor.

I asked them and they said last years was the Introductory Price and the new quote was the best they could do. I shopped around using a well known comparison site and voila £290.

No change in my personal info or the MoHo and no claims. Look around and compare.

Off to France and down into Northern Spain in Sept via the Plymouth/Roscoff Crossing

Booking Direct with Brittany Ferries was cheaper than booking through the Club

    @Higgy I don't know what sort of motorhome you have but my last quote,2025, from Devitt was over £600 which didn't seem out of place with other insurers.

    1999 Fiat Ducato 2.8 Turbo Diesel 4 berth, really good condition flew through the MOT last month. We did Europe Sept 2025 ending up in Croatia, return trip back to Northumberland about 3.5k miles.

    I've said many times I'm amazed that the club cannot offer competitive cover premiums, especially when you consider the number of members.

    Yes I know the cover is supposed to be a gold plated premium product, but every year I get a quote on a like for like basis and am amazed that they can still advertise the beat your quote by £25.

    This year was fairly typical. For my caravan I've ended up paying just over £200 with Lifesure compared with £600+ with C&MC. I could have got cheaper, but the cover was not comparable.
